AMIT KAMATH, M.D.

Dr. Kamath will be joining our practice in August 2010. Dr. Kamath completed his medical school in India before joining a Residency program in Brooklyn Hospital Medical Institute, NYC. Dr. Kamath has worked in the NICU, Pediatric Emergency Room, as well as the out-patient clinic during his residency program. Prior to that he had work experience in India as he managed a well baby and immunization clinic, providing well care checkups for growth & development, vaccination and parental counseling. He also managed critical care to patients in a Pediatric Emergency Care Department and participated in the Pulse Polio National Immunization program. All of this experience has provided him with a strong exposure and has helped him to develop a working knowledge of all the different areas within pediatrics as well as teaching him excellent patient quality care.
